Maya is a senior at EHS this year and she called on me to shoot her Sr. Photos. She told me that she wanted a “Girlie” shoot. “Sure, no problem,” I said. We found a field she liked, she got a flowing white dress and the sun cooperated for the most part. The only problem was that the young lady who showed up on shoot day was so much greater than a single adjective. She was playful, and confident and bold. She was smart and feminine and the light in her eyes seemed to scream to the world that she is poised to take on much bigger and much more important things. Girlie got left in the car. Get ready, World, here comes Maya.
