Unlike a portrait that is planned, shooting bands is trying to find that one moment, that single frame that sums up the feeling of the crowd - perfectly - as they look to their idol up on stage. Meanwhile a screaming, loud freight train is barreling towards you before getting kicked back to gen-pop and the writhing mass of bodies who paid their hard-earned cash to be there. It’s thrilling! And the feeling I get in capturing that moment is equivalent to any fan in any crowd.
